My Story

After years of suffering with chronic illness I took charge of an area of my health I could control - nutrition! And it changed my life forever …

In my early twenties I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis and suffered for years with fatigue, pain and living half a life. After I had a shower in the morning I was ready to go back to bed and spent many weekends on the sofa missing out. I tried to cope the best I could and do the things other people my age were doing. Fast forward a few years and I decided to change my diet as part of a challenge and a couple of weeks in I started to feel much better. I couldn’t believe the difference it made so I started to do some research and what began as a curiosity turned into an obsession and I spent all my time listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and reading articles about nutrition. I realised whilst I would always have endometriosis I could give myself the best chance to be healthy and feel good. It was empowering to know I could do something positive that could make a difference to my health.

It inspired me so much that I decided to retrain as a nutritional therapist to understand the science and spread its power to others. I studied for 4 years with the highly regarded British College of Nutrition and Health in conjunction with the University of Greenwich. Not only did I learn a new career but was able to change my own diet and lifestyle further too. I managed to achieve a healthy weight and stay there, complete a half marathon and fuel myself appropriately, take a personalised approach to my own diet and understand what works for me. I’ve been through the process too so I know where you are coming from, what is hard and how to get results.

I have a personal passion for supporting those with fertility and female health challenges due to my own experiences in this area. I have been through IVF, miscarriages and a successful pregnancy so in addition to the practical support and advice I can share with you I can understand the process and emotions you may be going through too.

I’ve alway been interested in food - trying new recipes, cooking for friends, going out for dinner, exploring new foods and eating scrumptious creations. My previous career was also in the food industry developing and evolving products for customers. So I believe that eating and living well should be joyous, it should feel like ‘why haven’t I always been doing this’ and ‘I need to tell everyone about it!’ This is my passion - to spread the word and help as many people as possible!

I’d love to work with you to help you feel great, every day!
