Chocolate Truffles

These truffles are made from just 4 ingredients, in 1 hour. Clean, simple and delicious for Christmas!

Ingredients

  • 20g coconut oil

  • 20g smooth peanut butter

  • 20g maple syrup

  • 8g cacao (or cocoa) powder

(approx 12 truffles)

Method

  1. Add the coconut oil, maple syrup and peanut butter to a mug and microwave for around 20 seconds. Stir until you have a smooth liquid and the coconut oil is completely melted.

  2. Stir in the cacao powder and microwave for another 5 seconds.

  3. Stir thoroughly, add to your mould and put in the freezer for an hour.

  4. Then take them out the freezer as you want them. Yum!

  5. You can try adding a sprinkling of coconut, raisins or chopped nuts to the moulds before pouring in the mixture, to flavour your truffles and add texture.

Please note they start to melt quite quickly when coming out the freezer so aren’t suitable as a gift or leaving out for a long time.
